Context
In response to a pitch that included a prototype I created, The Fox team chose Stable|Kernel to design and build a new mobile app.
Goal
Create a mobile app that increases ticket sales, drink revenue and interest in the historical aspects of The Fox.

Discovery
In our discovery, we found we found several opportunities to further enhance the guest experience and drive brand affinity among its fans.
1.
Drink lines were too long. Our solution offered fans the ability to pre-order drinks in the app and then pick up at a designated concession stand without waiting in line.
2.
There is a lot of waiting in a theatre experience, why not use that opportunity to tell fans about upcoming shows and give them the ability to purchase tickets?
3.
The history of the Fox and its architecture are fascinating. We created an in-app tour detailing the highlights of the theatre.
User Testing
After the initial UX and design were done, I led a team of 8 in conducting user testing on-site as Fox patrons arrived to attend a theater event. Using A/B/C gorilla style testing we were able to quickly and cheaply gather tons of insight and iterate on the app design.

Outcome
So far, the app has been a success and Stable|Kernel has retained the Fox as a client. Plans for V2 and V3 include beacon enabled tours, 3-D images of the interior, expansion of drink services and native app ticket purchasing.
